Govt. reporter/ immediate opening
Ocean City Today, a weekly newspaper in Ocean City, Maryland, has an opening for a reporter to cover local government. Experience matters, as does a good command of English. The job entails writing at least six solid stories a week, and knowing how to put together pieces that explain the subject of a meeting, rather than simply recounting who said what. Pay commensurate with experience; health plan and other benefits included. Top-notch recent grads also considered. Ocean City Today is the paper of record for Ocean City and Worcester County, and ranges in size from 68 to 108 pages, with a distribution of between 15,000 and 20,000 copies each week.
