CoinDesk is seeking paid part– or full-time time interns to support our growing Editorial team. This position is based in New York City and is available immediately.

This position is ideal for recent college graduates, current graduate students or exceptional currently enrolled undergraduates who want a hands-on, high impact opportunity that demands creative thinking, ingenuity and collaboration.

Job Description

A new monetary is being built before our very eyes and a lot of the world is missing it. It's our mission to tell them about it.

That’s the challenge facing CoinDesk as we seek further cement our industry-leading coverage and challenge traditional financial journalism leaders on all things “blockchain”.

As blockchain is a unique intersection of business, finance and technology, we’re looking for uniquely qualified candidates who can help us push forward in building the premier journalistic platform to meet this once-in-a-generation opportunity.

Requirements include:

  • Communications: Excellent phone/verbal and written communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for our work: You must have an interest in journalism, be up-to-date on media trends and have a passion for staying up to date in what’s trending in media.
  • Work Independently: Able to prioritize, organize, and manage deliverables but work in a supportive environment.

Bonus Skills:

  • Ability to write copy quickly and take constructive criticism
  • Expertise in crafting stories across media platforms (web, social, new mediums)

Compensation: $10/hr
