Award-winning state-wide legal newspaper based in Philadelphia is seeking a full-time reporter to cover state and federal courts in Delaware, as well as the legal industry, with particular emphasis on the Chancery Court. The beat includes covering hearings, trials, court decisions and verdicts, as well as covering state government and the legal profession. Must be capable of doing analysis of court trends and voting patterns of appellate judges. Must be comfortable reporting on complicated business litigation. Should be strong writer capable of doing breaking news as well as enterprise stories. Two to four years experience preferred, particularly those with experience covering courts and the law and business. However, new grads are welcome.
