The Idaho Mountain Express newspaper is looking for a full-time graphic and page designer to join our production team. The Express has been recognized repeatedly by the National Newspaper Association as one of the best community newspapers in the country.
We are located in the state’s stunning central mountains that include the resort communities of Sun Valley, Ketchum, Hailey and Bellevue. Winter skiing and summer hiking opportunities are abundant and exist alongside a vibrant arts community.
Candidates must have a strong interest in the fundamentals of design and typography and be able to enhance them using the tools we provide (InDesign®, Photoshop and Illustrator®). The successful candidate should have a relevant college degree and at least one to two years of design experience. Must be accustomed to meeting multiple deadlines.
Work is executed half on site and half remotely. Compensation DOE plus fully paid major medical insurance plan. Applicants should be aware that housing opportunities in the area are currently limited. Applicants should confirm availability before applying for this position.
