The Suncoast News is seeking a general assignment reporter and photographer who can handle a wide range of story types, from government and police news to community stories and personality features. The ability to help with page editing and proofing would be a plus. Knowledge of social media and online publishing would also be beneficial.


This is a full-time job with salary and benefits.


The Suncoast News is a group of weekly papers published in western Pasco County and northern Pinellas County, in Florida, near Tampa, and monthly papers in Hernando County. The Suncoast News is owned by Tampa Bay Newspapers, which also publishes weekly and monthly papers in central and southern Pinellas County.
