Description:

Courthouse News Service is seeking a full-time news editor for the national news website. The editor’s tasks include ensuring that published stories are well-written and well-sourced and reach a high professional standard.

The ideal candidate possesses exceptional editing and interpersonal skills, meticulous attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to produce clean, engaging edited copy.

Competitive pay based in part on location and experience is offered as are some benefits. Editing experience is preferred. The editor would report to a managing editor.
