Description:
KUAC is recruiting a Senior News Reporter/Producer, to work the mid-morning hours, Monday thru Friday, reporting news from around the Fairbanks area and elsewhere in the sprawling Alaskan Interior. This is a fast-paced on-air time period and requires skills and experience. A successful candidate should have successful experience with producing newscasts, feature stories and interviews for radio. Also: Understanding of journalistic practices and media ethics, excellent verbal and written skills; experience with research, news gathering, fact checking. And: three years demonstrated successful experience with producing newscasts, feature stories and interviews for radio; experience with research, news gathering, fact checking and writing news stories for radio.
