The ideal candidate is equally comfortable thinking several weeks ahead about a major enterprise project and jumping into the newsroom during a breaking news cycle. The candidate must have a solid understanding of the trends, personalities and debates defining Jewish life, culture, religion and politics across the country and throughout the Jewish world. A West Coast candidate or a candidate willing to work West Coast hours is preferred.
