The Times-Picayune/The Advocate is seeking a reporter to cover environmental issues affecting Louisiana. The reporter would be based in New Orleans and be part of our four-member, grant-funded environmental team.

Louisiana is on the front lines of a long list of environmental challenges, including sea level rise, coastal erosion, industrial pollution and intensifying storms. We seek to provide authoritative, agenda-setting coverage of all those issues and more through the full range of stories, from breaking news to in-depth pieces, features and projects. Applicants should be team players who are eager to pursue stories across all those categories.
