Editor in Chief

This is an exciting opportunity to lead Vero Beach's longtime market leader, Vero Beach Magazine, to excellence in lifestyle coverage. This monthly magazine and its two sister annuals (Time & Treasure and Vero Beach Handbook) are revered in the Vero Beach market, and we're looking for a dynamic, passionate editor to lead them forward. 

The editor in chief will manage one dedicated senior editor and work with the greater art and editorial team of Palm Beach Media Group, the magazine's parent company. 

The editor in chief will be responsible for, among other duties: developing compelling content, overseeing staff and freelancers, editing/writing/proofreading as needed, representing the magazine in the community, maintaining and growing a network of social and professional contacts, overseeing the publication's budget, and ensuring all deadlines are met according to the company's production schedule. 

Degree in journalism, English, or similar and five years experience preferred. Strong writing, editing, and communication skills required.
