About The Company: The Philadelphia Tribune Media Group is a prestigious, multi-media company and the nation’s oldest, continuously published African American newspaper.

Job Summary: We have a unique opportunity for highly motivated sales professionals, who can drive sales through networking, creating referral partnerships, cultivating relationships and creative marketing. This individual will represent The Philadelphia Tribune and its newspaper, magazine and digital products in the Greater Philadelphia region.

In your role, you will report directly to the Director of Advertising and Marketing and work with a dynamic team of sales professionals. You will be representing a newspaper of unprecedented authority within the region’s African American community.

Job Requirements:

• Establish new relationships with national, regional, and local advertisers who can benefit from Tribune products and services.

• Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.

• Possess a valid driver’s license and an insured motor vehicle.

Desired Qualifications:

• Must have high energy and demonstrated passion for selling.

• Possess excellent presentation skills.

• Familiar with all phases of the sale cycle, from prospecting to closing.

• Previous sales experience highly desired.

• Experience working with advertising agencies and multicultural communities is a plus.
