Short-Form Health Reporter, Epoch Health (Freelance)

We are seeking an experienced Short-Form Health Writer / Article Updater for Epoch Health, the health section of The Epoch Times. The ideal candidate will have a deep exposure to health topics and trends, excel at finding quality research and authoritative sources, and be able to write clean, focused, well-sourced articles or revise and update existing articles.
The candidate should uphold The Epoch Times’ editorial standards and believe in our mission of delivering truth, tradition, and hope.
Responsibilities:
Write 1-2 short stories per day (~400 words)
Take assignments and pitch original story ideas
Revise and update existing articles
Write engaging, clear, concise articles
Support articles with solid sourcing, including high-quality studies
Capture essential context and nuance
Address feedback from editors and make revisions
Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in health writing
Experience in finding and correctly interpreting high-quality studies
Openness to feedback and new ideas
Tuned in to health and wellness topics and trends
