Strong Understanding of Today’s Political Climate & Issues.
Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop) and other modern video/graphic editing tools.
Experience Working in a Fast-Paced Newsroom- and journalism experience
Creative Intuition: The ability to take a raw news story and visualize it through compelling graphics or video sequences.

Flexibility: Comfort working after hours or on weekends when major news breaks.
Communication: Strong writing skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with editors and reporters across the newsroom.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in editorial design, digital media, or a related field.
A portfolio that demonstrates an ability to complement written narratives with strong visual concepts.
Ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines.
Deep alignment with the mission of pro-democracy, independent media.
