Description:

Quickly growing newspaper, financially stable, looking for experienced newspaper layout and design professional with strong editing skills. Paper located in Northwest Connecticut with wide regional  print distribution and online paper as well.

Key Responsibilities:

*     Monthly print newspaper layout and design with editing

*     Uploading to online edition

*     Periodic website upgrades

*     Final edits of copy content

Qualifications:

*     Bachelor's degree and/or experience in newspaper layout and design

*     Strong editing skills

*    Strong knowledge of AP style and journalistic ethics

*     Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
