🚨 We’re Hiring: Freelance Multiplatform
Producer 🚨

NBC4 Los Angeles | NBCUniversal Local
NBC4 Los Angeles is looking for an experienced Freelance Multiplatform Producer
to join our newsroom and help deliver compelling local news across linear and
digital platforms.
This is a temporary freelance role, expected to last up to 3 months,
with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
What You’ll Do
- Produce newscasts for broadcast
and streaming channels
- Write and edit content across all
platforms
- Craft strong, compelling teases
- Curate and prioritize content for
a dynamic, engaging newscast
- Pitch enterprise story ideas that
reflect the needs and interests of our local communities
- Collaborate with Executive
Producers and Show Producers to deliver fair, accurate, and impactful
coverage
What We’re
Looking For
- 5+ years producing a daily
newscast in a major market
- Strong writing, producing, and
desktop editing skills
- Proficiency with newsroom
production systems and broadcast technology
- Flexibility to work nights,
weekends, and holidays, as needed
Nice to
Have
- Experience in the Los Angeles
news market
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Deep interest in current events,
politics, and pop culture
- Comfort producing across multiple
platforms
- Curiosity around emerging
technologies and new storytelling approaches
Additional
Details
- On‑site role in Universal City,
CA
- Pay range: $30–$50/hour
- Must be willing to be contracted
through YOH for payroll processing
- Valid driver’s license and
unrestricted U.S. work authorization required
