Description:
The Northwest Labor Press is an independent union-supported nonprofit regional newspaper. It appears online at nwlaborpress.org and is mailed twice a month to about 45,000 union households in Oregon and Southwest Washington.
We're looking for a talented and productive journalist to report on the labor movement and issues that matter to working people. No specialized knowledge about unions is required, but for the job to be a good fit, applicants should have an affinity for the goals of the labor movement — justice, security, and dignity for working people.
This is a union-represented position with competitive wages and unmatched benefits.
To do the job you’d need to live in the Portland metro area, but for out-of-area applicants who would be a great fit, we can be flexible about the relocation timeline.
Visit nwlaborpress.org/now-hiring for more details.
There's no fixed start date, and the position will be considered open until filled, so apply soon if you're interested!
