The Vermillion (S.D.) Plain Talk — an award-winning, weekly newspaper located along the banks of the Missouri River and near Lewis and Clark Lake in southeastern South Dakota — is seeking applicants for the position of reporter/editor. This position will focus on the city and county government, city, county and regional events as well as local sports. Some page designing (InDesign) is also involved. Applicants must have strong writing and reporting skills. Page design skills, photography skills and video/social media experience are helpful. This can be either a part-time or full-time position.
