The Role
We're seeking a Digital Advertising Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is perfect for a digital marketing professional with 1-2 years of experience who wants to make an impact in a dynamic news media environment. You'll manage digital campaigns from concept to completion, analyze performance metrics, and help develop new business opportunities—all while working with a team that values creativity, precision, and results.
What You'll Do
- Manage Digital Campaigns: Oversee day-to-day fulfillment of digital campaigns, including content creation, curation, and lead generation
- Analyze & Report: Prepare performance reports and participate in campaign analysis to optimize results
- Client Relations: Assist with client correspondence and maintain digital records
- Business Development: Pursue and develop new leads for digital marketing and consulting services
- Strategic Support: Contribute to campaign reviews, ideation sessions, audits, and proposal development
What We're Looking For
Required Experience:
- 1-2 years in digital marketing, advertising, social media management, or digital business development
- 1 year using industry-standard Content Management Systems (Blox experience preferred)
- HTML experience and WordPress content management
- Programmatic digital campaign experience
- Social media campaign setup using both organic and paid tools
Essential Skills:
- Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics (social media, website analytics, etc.)
- Ability to explain complex digital concepts in plain language to non-technical clients
- Knowledge of current digital marketing trends and best practices
- Basic image and video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Express)
- Excellent copy editing skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Understanding of marketing and advertising within news organizations
