Wanted: One creative, innovative reporter in sunny Yuma!
The Yuma Sun, a daily newspaper in Yuma, Arizona, is accepting applications for a city government / general assignments reporter.

Applicants must be able to write news and features proficiently, edit copy and handle related efforts such as photography, video and audio presentations. We would expect an understanding and appreciation of the role of the web, intense local coverage and the diverse skills needed in today's newspaper world. Experience in all these areas is desirable, but a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.

We are located in southwestern Arizona, only hours away from large cities like Phoenix, Palm Springs and San Diego. Yuma is a growing desert community with outdoor recreation, including water recreation on nearby rivers and lakes. The mountains and ocean are not far away.
