launching a modern daily newspaper in one of the world’s most successful and
closely scrutinized jurisdictions. We are confidentially searching for an
Editor-in-Chief to lead the new daily publication in the Cayman Islands.
This is a senior, hands-on working Editor-in-Chief role with real authority. The successful candidate will lead a next-generation newsroom, make final editorial decisions, and oversee the responsible use of modern technology in support of high-quality, independent journalism.
This is not a legacy newsroom and not an advocacy platform.
You should apply if you have:
- Senior
editorial leadership experience
- Strong
judgment in legally sensitive, high-risk environments
- Experience
with investigations, courts, or public accountability reporting
- Comfort
leading change and modernizing newsroom workflows
