The successful job candidate will be self-motivated. He or she should be able to thrive in a daily deadline news environment, and have the judgment to decide what needs to be covered in a vast sea of tech news to keep an audience of top industry and government officials ahead of the information curve. He or she will thrive on finding ways to get ahead of announcements by interviewing key decisionmakers and their aides.

The successful applicant will be expected to write forward-looking stories every day on what’s happening behind the scenes in specific legislative committees and subcommittees and at regulatory agencies.
