The Southeast Missourian needs you to join its newsroom.
We are the flagship newspaper of Rust Communications, which has a network of publications throughout the region. Our newsroom publishes a print newspaper three times each week and maintains a vibrant website that operates on a 24-hour news cycle. We use a proprietary content management system that incorporates unique AI capabilities that enhance our coverage and extend our reach. This newspaper has a history of impactful investigative reporting and emphasizes quality writing.
Cape Girardeau is the economic, medical and cultural hub between St. Louis and Memphis, Tennessee, and is home to Southeast Missouri State University. It combines the familiarity of small-city life with the amenities of larger urban areas.
This position is based in Cape Girardeau and is not conducive to remote work.
