Description:
Cowboy State Daily, Wyoming's largest and most influential news organization, is looking for a Multimedia Journalist who can assist our Broadcast Media Director with daily video newscasts, podcasts and other video products.
Applicants must know how to:
Edit video for newscasts
Create content for digital and social platforms
Customize video content for target audiences on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat
Post, promote, and maximize audiences on separate video platforms
Produce video news packages
Write for a digital audience
This position will work very closely with our Broadcast Media Director and assist him in creating our daily newscast, which includes editing, producing, packaging, etc.
The workday primarily begins mid-afternoon and goes through late evening. You will be expected to produce daily content on a variety of platforms, and will be responsible for updating all video channels.
Some on-camera work will be required as well.
Experience:
College degree or minimum one year relative experience in the field
Knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere or other video and audio editing programs
