The Odessa American needs a full-time reporter to cover a variety of beats. The ideal applicant will be comfortable with covering governmental entities and also finding engaging stories to tell. This position also offers a chance to write features. This job could send you to a fire or a concert in the park - never boring! We need a story teller who is also able to ask difficult questions or comb through records. We seek candidates with experience, but will also consider those with the drive to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment that demands attention to detail.
