Sports Reporter

The Greenfield Recorder is seeking a full-time sports reporter to be part of a hard-working team focused on covering the local sports scene of Franklin County.

Our focus is primarily on community sporting events, with our area high schools at the forefront. The sports reporter will be expected to write game stories as well as regular features and a wide range of sporting news that includes coverage of the University of Massachusetts Amherst — a Division 1 institution. We're looking for creativity and a reporter who will be bold pitching original story ideas and producing compelling articles that matter to readers. This is a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment requiring strong multi-tasking skills. Experience with photography and video is a plus.
