Description:

We are seeking a creative, innovative, and detail-driven Digital Content Specialist/Editor to join our team. This brand-new position will play a key role in shaping our digital presence by creating and editing video content, managing social media platforms, and helping launch a new video show across multiple channels.

A major focus of this role will be developing and launching our presence on, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, building engaging content strategies, and driving growth on these platforms.

The ideal candidate is a versatile storyteller, outside-the-box thinker, and skilled multitasker who can bring fresh ideas to life while maintaining brand consistency. Responsibilities include producing short- and long-form video, optimizing content for multiple platforms and sparking audience engagement through strategic social media management.

The position will work with our entire team at newspapers in Warrenton, Montgomery City and Mexico.

Qualifications:

• Strong skills in video editing and digital storytelling.
• Knowledge of social media trends, especially on Instagram and TikTok.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative, innovative thinker who can bring fresh ideas to the table.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with social media management tools and analytics is a plus.
