Description:
WyoToday Media is seeking a Program Director to lead programming across our five radio stations in Fremont County.
Position Overview:
The Program Director ensures engaging, high-quality content across all stations, while maintaining compliance with FCC, BMI, and ASCAP regulations. This position also hosts the morning drive show on KTAK 93.9FM, produces video ads, and represents our stations at live remotes and community events.
Key Responsibilities:
Programming & On-Air:
• Develop and execute programming strategies tailored to each station’s brand and audience.
• Host the morning drive show on KTAK 93.9FM.
• Manage on-air talent and schedule engaging guest appearances.
• Complete affidavits for contracted programs and ensure barter agreements are met.
• Attend and represent stations at live remotes and promotional events.• Set up and program mobile sports streaming kits using Open Broadcast Software.
Regulatory Compliance:
• Oversee FCC filings, including quarterly public file reports.Political ad documentation & filing
Ensure music reporting is accurate and submitted on time to BMI and ASCAP.
Regular EAS Oversight and Yearly Tests
Creative Production:
• Edit, film, and produce video advertisements, promos and contentTeam Leadership & Collaboration:
• Lead on-air and support staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Partner with sales to deliver seamless promotions and quality broadcasts.
Qualifications:
Experience in radio programming and on-air performance.
Strong knowledge of FCC, EAS, BMI, and ASCAP requirements.
Proficiency in video editing and production software.
Willingness to attend live remote broadcasts and community events.
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage creative talent.
Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
