Senior Writer/Editor
National Guard magazine, the official publication of the National Guard Association of the United States, is seeking a senior writer/editor to help cover National Guard issues and defense-related matters in Washington, D.C., and nationwide.
In addition, the selected candidate will serve as editor of the weekly NGAUS e-newsletter.
The position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience covering the military. Some travel will be required. The selected candidate will work most days from the National Guard Memorial, the NGAUS headquarters in Washington, D.C.
We're looking for a storyteller who enjoys covering military members.
The salary range is $80,000 to $90,000. The benefits package includes medical coverage immediately and a 401(k) with a 7% match after six months.
