content to consumers.
Full-Time Lead Digital Producer – News
Channel Nebraska
Location: Norfolk, NE or Kearney, NE

News Channel Nebraska (NCN) is one of the fastest-growing media companies in
the country, utilizing a network of TV stations, radio stations, and social
media platforms to inform and entertain underserved populations across
Nebraska. Due to the increasing demand for our content, we are seeking a
multitalented individual to join our team in a hybrid role as a TV Producer and
Digital Team Member. This position will
be based in Norfolk, NE or Kearney, NE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content
Creation:
- Source,
write, and publish news content for TV broadcasts.
- Source,
write, and publish engaging content for the NCN website and other digital
platforms.
- Video
Editing:
- Edit
video content for both TV and web to ensure the delivery of high-quality,
timely news.
- Social
Media Management:
- Assist
in managing and growing News Channel Nebraska’s social media pages, as
well as the social media presence of NCN’s radio stations.
- Collaborate
with digital and broadcast teams to amplify stories across social
platforms.
- Digital
Strategy Development:
- Contribute
to building and developing NCN’s digital strategy, focusing on increasing
engagement and content reach.
- Collaboration
with Team Members:
- Work
closely with anchors, reporters, and other team members to develop and
deliver content in an engaging, dynamic manner.

Breaking
News & Coverage:
- Assist
in coverage and timely reporting of breaking news, weather events, and
other important live events.
- Adherence
to Ethical and Legal Standards:
- Ensure
all reporting, broadcasting, and digital content meet ethical and legal
standards, maintaining accuracy, fairness, and compliance with copyright
regulations.

Qualifications:
- Degree
in broadcast journalism preferred
- Excellent
journalistic judgement
- Master-level
knowledge of major social media sites

be located in or willing to relocate to Norfolk, NE or Kearney, NE
