Your Role
We’re looking for a research Intern to work with our founding team of award-winning journalists.
This is a great opportunity to work directly with experienced journalists. Looking for someone who enjoys digging into public records, spotting patterns, and translating research into actionable insights.
Responsibilities include:
Research: | o Respond to research requests for individual and institutional prospects o Monitor relevant news to create key insights o Proactively generate and maintain research profiles |
Create Briefing Materials: | o Build concise, quality research materials including background reports |
Assist on research system | o Help shape our approach to tracking and prioritizing opportunities |
Qualifications:
· Strong research and analytical skills—able to track down info and verify accuracy
· Ability to turn raw data into a compelling snapshot
· Curious, resourceful, and comfortable with ambiguity (typical startup environment)
· Familiarity with LinkedIn, Crunchbase, Google Advanced Search, or databases is a big plus
· Professional discretion in working with high-profile individuals, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
