Description:

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette is seeking a Multimedia Editor to lead our team in creating compelling video, audio, and digital storytelling. You’ll collaborate with talented journalists, oversee innovative short-form and long-form multimedia projects, and help shape news coverage across our website, social media platforms and digital replica edition. If you’re skilled with video and podcasts, and thrive in a fast-paced newsroom, we want to hear from you.

The Multimedia Editor will lead a team of two multimedia reporters on staff and one or two freelance videographers, conceive and assign short- and long-term projects, shoot and edit video as needed, and produce and edit podcasts. Under general supervision, they will monitor newsroom budgets and coordinate the production of standalone and story-driven multimedia content.
