Job Opportunity: Graphic Designer
The Port Townsend & Jefferson County Leader is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to help create visually compelling layouts for both editorial and advertising content in our weekly newspaper and monthly magazines.About Us:

About the Role:
We are looking for a designer who can:
- Design engaging layouts for both editorial content and advertising across print and digital platforms.
- Work collaboratively to enhance the visual identity of our publications.
- Take direction while contributing fresh, innovative ideas for design and branding.
This role is ideal for a newer designer eager to grow or a seasoned professional ready to take on — or grow into — an art director or production manager role.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and InCopy (or similar pagination software).
- A strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity and versatility in both editorial and advertising design.
- A passion for visual storytelling and community-focused journalism.
Compensation:
