The Tribune & Georgian, a weekly newspaper based in St. Marys, Ga., seeks a hard-working, dedicated and inquisitive staff writer and reporter to join its operation.

The T&G is an award-winning newspaper in Southeast Georgia. We’re close to beaches, hiking trails, a major metropolitan city and more. Camden County, Georgia, is home to Cumberland Island National Seashore, Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base and more than 55,000 people. And it is growing.

The reporter hired will work with the Publisher/Editor and Assistant Editor to chronicle this fascinating community in a fast-paced and fun newsroom.

We’re looking for a hard-charging, talented journalist to join our staff. We want someone with a proven ability to write accurate breaking news stories, deeply researched enterprise pieces and well-crafted features.

We also want someone who has a passion for newspapers and journalism. Jobs in this industry aren’t for the faint of heart. We want someone who believes in the power of journalism and desires to help us make the Tribune & Georgian the best weekly newspaper in America.
