The Devils Lake Journal is seeking a full time MANAGING EDITOR. This position will be responsible for overseeing news, reporting, and planning each edition of the Journal.  Responsibilities include: Overseeing  and creating content for our print and digital platforms, and other niche publications.  They will manage, support, and lead existing content development in the newsroom.   Applicants need  a passion for local news, strong editing and writing skills and the ability to drive significant enterprise journalism.  Networking with the community and interacting with the public are both necessary functions of this position. Strong technology skills, and excellent interpersonal communications are required. 

This is a full time position and salary is dependent on experience.  Benefits include  Health, Dental, Vision and Life insurance, paid time off and a flexible schedule.
