Description:
CNHI’S Indiana
design center has an immediate opening for a full-time page designer. We
operate a central design desk assembling pages for 21 newspapers in five states.
Applicants
should be skilled in InDesign (we’ll take Quark if you’re able to make a quick
transition) and you should have experience in newspaper page design. Have
experience with the BloxTotalCMS system and you just moved to the top of the
stack.
While the design
center is physically located in the newsroom of The Herald Bulletin in
Anderson, Indiana, we are mostly a remote operation. Thanks to a seamless
digital connection to the hub, our designers work from home in multiple states.
Should you live near Anderson and prefer an in-office environment, there will
be a desk there with your name on it.
For this open
position, we need someone who can churn out pages but also throw down a great
A1. Speed and attention to detail are of equal importance.
Evening availability is necessary. This full-time position includes paid time
off and available benefits: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, etc.
If all this sounds good to you, please email your resume and a couple examples of your work in page design to lucas.whitten@indianamediagroup.com. Please use “Design position inquiry” in the email subject header. Feel free to include a couple references as well.
