Description:
The Bluffton News-Banner is seeking a general assignment reporter to join our staff. With a strong emphasis on local news, we value flexibility to cover multiple areas of the community like schools, city council, etc., with room for an occasional feature or enterprise story. Particular interest in covering courts and crime is a plus.
The News-Banner is a locally owned, award-winning daily (six days a week) in Bluffton, Indiana. We report on all of Wells County, a growing agricultural community south of Fort Wayne. A new reporter will join a staff of several full-time reporters, as well as multiple part-time reporters.
