Job Status Full-time

Description:

The Concord Bridge seeks a savvy, versatile municipal and spot news reporter with the chops to cover local government and education through searching, accurate stories that have real impact for our dedicated readers.

This job requires in-person coverage of evening Select Board and School Committee meetings, but you want to go far beyond that: Our non-profit, non-partisan weekly seeks a team player who looks beyond agenda items and press releases to the big-picture issues — rising taxes, a tight housing market, changing demographics — to tell the deeper story of this historic, evolving town.

Candidates must have at least two years of professional local news experience, live within commuting distance of Concord, MA, and have their own transportation. Experience with photography and data-driven reporting a plus.

Join our local news revolution: Send resume and clips to jobs@concordbridge.org with MUNICIPAL REPORTER in the subject line. The Concord Bridge is the newspaper of record for historic Concord, MA.
