Your Role:

As a Regional Writer for the states in your region, you'll dive deep into the heart of the collision repair industry, uncovering the news, trends, challenges, and opportunities that shape its future. Your focus will be on industry associations, body shop acquisitions, legislation, new technology, and more. Your work will contribute to our mission of providing essential, unique, and insightful content that our readers can't find anywhere else, making Autobody News an indispensable resource for industry professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Approximately 4 pieces of exclusive and original reporting will be expected monthly, ranging in size and scope, with photos.

• Conduct in-depth interviews with association leaders, government officials, MSO executives, and other sources. 

• Will occasionally cover regional meetings and events, but most stories will be produced remotely via interview.

 

What We're Looking For:

Demonstrated experience in journalism and content creation within the automotive or related sectors.

A knack for understanding what is relevant to the industry, uncovering exclusive stories and delivering insightful analyses.

Strong interviewing skills and the ability to source information from key industry players.

The ability to write compelling, clear, and accurate stories that engages a specialized audience.

A self-starter with a collaborative spirit who can thrive in a remote environment.

A reporter who is internally driven by writing the absolute best coverage of a given story or topic.
