Shoreline Media, which includes a five-day-a-week daily newspaper and two weekly community newspapers along Lake Michigan's shoreline, seeks a full-time general assignment reporter for immediate hire. The Ludington Daily news is the 2023 Michigan Press Association Newspaper of the Year. We are looking for the right candidate to help us continue that award-winning tradition.

The primary responsibilities of the reporter would be covering news and events in and around the Ludington County region, which also includes possible assignments in Oceana, Manistee, Lake and other areas in the region. We are looking for a go-getter with a nose for news who isn't afraid to dig into stories both large and small. In addition to regular news coverage the individual who assumes this role will also be asked to write features, cover sports, assist with page layout and take photos. 

Ludington is an outdoors paradise from sandy beaches to excellent wooded trails with the waters of not only Lake Michigan but also several rivers and inland lakes. The Shoreline Media and the Ludington Daily News are part of Community Media Group, a privately owned company who operates over 40 papers in several states across the Midwest.
