Copy Editor-PT

The award-winning Omaha World-Herald is seeking a part-time copy editor to make our copy shine.

The ideal candidate has experience writing headlines that fit tough counts, catching mistakes in style and facts, understanding how to juggle wire copy with staff content and appreciating how deadline magic happens. The job would include working with newsroom staff as well as with our print design partners.

While the World-Herald leaders believe that in-person collaboration is key, this 20-hour-a-week position can be fully remote. The hours would include nights and weekends.
