BoiseDev is looking for a talented journalist to join our team, with a focus on enterprise reporting.

We’ve grown quickly, adding talented journalists from backgrounds including television, traditional print, and digital.

This position will join our existing team of six journalists.

The ideal candidate will bring a desire to tell engaging, unique, and unduplicated stories that help tell the story of growth and change in SW Idaho. We focus on business news, municipal politics, new developments, and more.

BoiseDev is the only locally owned commercial news outlet in Boise, and operates the fourth most-visited Boise-area news site. It is a family-owned business that focuses on serving its community and fostering well-rounded employees both inside and outside of work. We look for people who are interested in producing work that puts facts at the forefront and building news products that put readers first.

The position is primarily work-from-home, but some duties can be performed at our downtown Boise office. The applicant must live in the Boise area.

We provide a work-from-home stipend, 401k match, health benefits,  and a generous time-off policy that includes 14 company holidays (including the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day) and additional paid time off. 

The compensation range for this position is $53,000 - $56,500/year.
