Description:
The Daily Star of Oneonta, New York, has an immediate opening for a general assignment reporter. This is a 37.5-hour-per-week position, with varying shifts. Newspaper education and/or experience is preferred, and knowledge of Chenango, Delaware, Otsego and Schoharie counties is a plus. Benefits include paid time off, health, dental, vision insurance and 401(k). Applicants from the Northeast preferred, but those willing to relocate will be considered. Salary range is $15 to $17 per hour, depending upon experience.
