Description:
The Laconia Daily Sun is looking for a hard-working page designer to join our newsroom team producing an award-winning morning newspaper in the heart of New Hampshire’s Lakes Region.
Primary responsibilities include laying out community news and opinion pages, placing and sizing photos, adjusting headlines and story flow, and preparing pages for publication. Additional duties may include preparing online editions, web and social media content, digital newsletters, and other production tasks.
Some light copy editing may be required from time to time, so editing experience is helpful but not required.
Experience with newspaper page layout is preferred. Strong knowledge of Adobe InDesign is required. Photoshop experience is helpful. Excellent references are required. Salary is negotiable.
