The Union Leader is seeking both a full-time copy editor/news designer and a part-time copy editor/news designer to work a varying weekly schedule, including nights and weekends.

Full-time salary: $47,570 to $50,590

Part time: $24.32 per hour (based on experience)

Required experience:

  • MINIMUM two years of of design and copy-editing in the news business;
  • High proficiency with Adobe InDesign publishing software;
  • Headline writing proficiency;
  • Strong news judgment;
  • Familiarity with Associated Press Style and newspaper/web story formats .The ability to meet deadlines without supervision while editing copy accurately and efficiently.
