Description:
The Ellsworth American and Mount Desert Islander newspapers seek a motivated, conscientious reporter/photographer to cover high school sports in Hancock County, Maine.
Experience or training in reporting is necessary. Applicants must have reliable transportation and be willing to cover evening and weekend games, meets and other sporting events as needed.
One of New England’s most distinguished weekly newspapers, The American was founded in 1851.
This is a full-time, year-round position with benefits that include health insurance, paid time off and 401K.
