Description:
Voice Media Group is looking for an experienced membership manager responsible for the reader contribution programs in our newsrooms at Denver Westword, Miami New Times, Dallas Observer and Phoenix New Times.
We’re seeking a candidate with experience running a reader contribution program within a media organization or newsroom, or experience working in nonprofit fundraising. This role will focus on program optimization (member acquisition, engagement and retention) and the modeling, analysis and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
This full-time position offers a salary range of $55,000-$75,000 per year. Voice Media Group has offices in Denver, Phoenix, Dallas and Miami. Remote candidates will also be considered.
Responsibilities:

Manage, develop, and grow membership reader revenue programs for Voice Media Group publications with marketing and product teams.

Unlock the full revenue potential of our membership revenue by leveraging our platforms and building capabilities that grow and engage qualified audiences, convert engaged readers into new members, and satisfy and retain our existing members.

Forecast, manage and analyze program performance metrics.

Implement, track, and maintain all analytics related to membership programs.

Manages all day-to-day activities associated with the overall program success.

Proactively problem solve and enhance the user experience for membership programs.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, journalism or a related field

2+ years with experience in a newsroom, media org, or nonprofit working on the team that increases reader revenue and/or donations

Experience in modeling and analyzing various KPIs

Ability to proactively identify opportunities, take initiative and multi-task in a fast paced environment

Ability to establish and build business relationships

Be well-versed in current loyalty marketing and membership subscription best practices.
