Description:
Hidden City Philadelphia is looking to hire an experienced journalist to cover historic preservation and development. This would be a regular freelance contributor position.
We are specifically looking for someone to cover the monthly meetings of the Philadelphia Historical Commission, as well as contribute timely news articles about the built environment. Historic preservation is our primary focus, however real estate development, planning, and architecture are also important subject areas.
The prospective writer will commit to lending a consistent voice to our online news magazine each month. Prior knowledge of Philadelphia's built environment is desired, but not required. Must live in the Philly area.
We publish a diverse pool of writers, and are always encouraging of applicants of any age/gender/race.
