Description:
The Herald-Whig in Quincy, Ill., has an immediate opening for an experienced reporter who is self-motivated. Recent college graduates will be considered. The reporter must be willing to spend time outside the office and available for day/night and/or weekend work as needed.
The full-time general assignment position requires a variety of journalism skills from reporting on government affairs to writing compelling features to covering special events and breaking news. Photography and social media experience is a plus.
