SEEKING FREELANCE WRITERS: INSIGHT Into Diversity, the largest national print and online magazine focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in higher education, seeks experienced freelance writers. We showcase best practices in building diverse, equitable, and inclusive campus cultures and shine a light on the people dedicated to this mission. Writer applicants will: interview high-level administrators as well as faculty, staff, and students; conduct background research; excel in storytelling to develop profiles of inspiring DEI practitioners and successful programs; and cover a wide range of other topics relevant to DEI and anti-racism efforts. Knowledge of higher education / DEI matters a strong plus. Freelance positions have potential to transition into a part- or full-time role. Pay rate depends on assignment.
