Paradiso Media is a Webby Award-nominated international podcast studio focused on narrative multilingual audio storytelling with offices in Paris and Los Angeles. The company was founded in September 2019 by Lorenzo Benedetti, Louis Daboussy, and Benoît Dunaigre. To date, we have released 50+ original, commissioned, and branded podcasts in as many as 14 languages with partners including Spotify, Audible, Paramount, Stitcher, and Ubisoft including “Love Under Lockdown” (Stitcher), “A Gay in the Life” (Spotify Live) and “Seventeen.” 

Job Description: 

Paradiso Media is looking for a Co-Host/Reporter who will be writing and narrating short (15 minute) audio documentaries that cover a wide-range of topics that appeal to young, diverse audiences. This person will be capable of writing deep dives into current events, pop culture, arts, science and more. The new weekly podcast will be produced in partnership with a leading digital news organization and audio platform. Freelance, part-time, with availability over 1 year (10-15 hours/week). Current estimated start date: mid-end September.


$1,200/episode with a two episode guarantee during an initial development period with the potential to continue on for up to 10-20 episodes more.

We’re looking for hosts who:

  • Approach audio storytelling with an ear for accuracy, nuance, and empathy. 

  • Enjoys exploring new concepts, and has a curiosity to better understand the sociopolitical, cultural and legal issues of our era.

  • Tells stories in a way that is entertaining and engaging while remaining accurate.

  • Have at least 2 years experience reporting, writing stories regularly on deadline

  • Know how to record audio and use editing software (Pro Tools, Audition or Logic Pro).

  • Knowledge of AP style guidelines

  • Ability to conduct and record interviews

  • Knowledge of the podcasting industry

Duties Include:

  • Working with the lead producer and staff to write multiple short audio documentaries.

  • Recording and editing audio.

  • Following production schedule guidelines and delivery standards.

  • Participating in regular meetings, help ideate episodes and approaches to different topics

  • Reporting and writing with authority, accuracy and fairness
